This house was built in 1803 and for almost a century served as the mining company’s office. In the late 19th century Utö was sold and transformed into a fashionable seaside resort. Former boring office became a popular inn frequented by the Swedish beau monde. Now it is a year-round open restaurant, a hotel and a conference facility.
