The Stockholm shows

Lidingövägen 75, 115 41 Stockholm, Sweden

On day 4 of the tour The Beatles gave two concerts in Stockholm. They were held at the Royal Tennis Hall (Kungliga Tennishallen) at 5pm and 8pm. As these were still the early days of their popularity, The Beatles were not the main performers that evening - Joey Dee and the Starliters were. The ticket price was between 8 and 16 SEK (0.8-1.6 EUR at current rates of exchange), and The Beatles’ fee for the night was 140 GBP.

The Beatles played nine songs:
‘Roll Over Beethoven’
‘Please Please Me’
‘I Saw Her Standing There’
‘From Me To You’
‘A Taste Of Honey’
‘Boys’
‘She Loves You’
‘Twist And Shout’
‘Long Tall Sally’

After the concerts, John and Ringo went to Joey Dee’s party at the Foresta Hotel, while Paul and George returned to their rooms at Hotel Continental.
