The Eskilstuna show

Arenatorget 1, 633 42 Eskilstuna, Sweden

On October 29th, 1963 The Beatles gave their last show of the Swedish tour. It was held in the town of Eskilstuna, at 19:00. The venue, Eskilstuna Sporthall, was quite full, yet not sold out: 2,000 of 2,600 tickets sold. Even though the popularity of The Beatles was growing every minute of that autumn and the Swedish media had drawn a lot of attention to them in connection with the tour, they were still relatively unknown.

In 2017 the original Sporthall venue was replaced by Stiga Sports Arena which is more modern and almost twice as big.
