Bowie mural in Brixton

Tunstall Rd, Brixton, London SW9 8BN, UK

The Bowie mural is painted on the wall of Morleys department store, opposite the Brixton tube station and just around the corner from where David was born. The colourful graffiti was created by an Australian street artist James Cochran in 2013. It features Bowie as he appears on the cover of his album “Aladdin Sane”.

After Bowie’s death, the mural has become a focal point for fans leaving flowers, tributes and messages.
