Where Picasso’s started painting

Pl. de la Merced, 17, Málaga, Spain

Having spent his first two years on the first floor of number 36 (today number 15) in Plaza de la Merced, in 1884 Pablo Picasso moved with his parents to the third floor of number 32 (today number 17) in the same square. This was his second and his last residence in Málaga before moving to La Coruña. It was in this house that he began to draw and paint. Picador is one work from that period, Pablo was only 8 years old when he painted it.
