Iceberg Opera House

Kirsten Flagstads Plass 1, Oslo, Norway

The angled exterior surfaces of this building are covered with marble from Carrara, Italy and white granite and make it appear to rise from the water like an iceberg. The roof is used as a walking area with ramps that allow people to stroll everywhere. It's one of the most technologically advanced theater buildings, with a stage composed of 16 platforms that can move in any direction. The main hall is illuminated by a chandelier with 800 LEDs, with light refracted through 5,800 handcrafted pendants.
