In October 1963 The Beatles made their first ever tour abroad - to Sweden. Between the 23rd and 31st October they gave 9 concerts, did a recording for the Swedish radio and participated in the Swedish TV music show Drop In.
The recording of the TV show took place on the 30th of October in front of a studio audience at the Arena Theater (Arenateatern), a small theater in Stockholm’s Gröna Lund amusement park. The Beatles performed ‘She Loves You’, ‘Twist And Shout’, ‘I Saw Her Standing There’, and ‘Long Tall Sally.
