Fellini’s first cinema

Corso d'Augusto, 162, 47921 Rimini RN, Italy

Cinema Fulgor is the place where young Fellini saw his first movie and where he fell in love with cinematography. Who knows, probably he would have never become a film director had he not spent numerous hours in Cinema Fulgor watching movies. It is rumoured that young Federico used to draw caricature portraits of the film stars which the movie owner hung on the foyer walls. In return, the owner allowed Fellini to visit the cinema free of charge.

Cinema Fulgor is featured in Amarcord when the lovely Gradisca stops and asks the owner when the movie with Garry Cooper is coming out.
