La Casona mansion dates back to the 16th century and used to be the home of the Castro family. Although it is now abandoned, the house has been restored and is in perfect condition. Some sources say that it will soon become a Hall of Nature in the City of Los Realejos and Visitor Center of Rambla de Castro.

Down below there is a small secluded beach with a waterfall. You can access the beach (there is a trail), but this detour is not a part of Rambla de Castro walk and will require extra time and substantial additional climbing.
