The summit (Röboåsen)

Gamla Uppsala 17, 755 94 Uppsala, Sweden

Uppsala hills are made of gravel and stone from the continental glacier. At this location you can soar to new heights! If you manage to reach the summit, you will be rewarded with a new perspective. In spring, pasque flowers grow in abundance at your feet. You can take a closer look at the particularly shapely specimens all year round.

Gravel and clay have long been taken from Röboåsen and its surroundings. Large-scale gravel pit was completed in the 1980s. Then the pit was refilled with land masses, covered with a layer of gravel, and sawn with meadow seeds. Do you see what is repaired and what is genuine?
