The Central Guard

Alstaviksvägen 10, 117 33 Stockholm, Sweden

This house known as the Central Guard (Centralvakten)  was erected in the 1850s for the military guard force of Långholmen Central Prison. When the military guard force was replaced with civilian personnel in the 1880s, the house was rebuilt as the main guard and prison staff residence.

Today it houses a preschool called "Central Guard".
