Once upon a time, the cadets at Karlberg Castle (https://reveal.world/story/the-military-school-and-the-home-of-the-kings) reportedly referred to the training grounds behind the castle as "Pampas" because it resembled a plain or grassland. Today, the place has been transformed to Pampas Marina, owned by Pampas Marina AB. The company has owned this small boat harbour since 1991 and offers services such as boat lifting, boat berths, boat storage, and kayak rental. It’s a nice small atmospheric place, well worth a visit if you are in the area. And don't forget to check the weather with the help of the Weather Stone!
