Fabijoniskes district, also known as Fabs, served as a perfect location for filming the city of Pripyat. Fabijoniskes is built symmetrically and reflects the typical Soviet architecture of the time. In fact, the S. Stanevičiaus Street, which repeatedly appears on the screen, was built a bit later. Ironically, these houses were constructed exactly in 1986, the year when the Chernobyl disaster occurred. But nevertheless they carry the unmistakable atmosphere and style of the era. Evacuation scenes in episode 2 were filmed near house number 92, and Legasov and Shcherbina were standing on the roof of house number 47.
