Playa de Calahonda where many of the scenes were shot is a small cove next to the Balcón de Europa. Fans of the series may remember it as the place where Julia and some guys are introduced in the first episode. The place has not lost its charm and it is easy to imagine the cast of Verano Azul swimming here. At the entrance to the beach, there is a sculpture of the old seawolf Chanquete, one of the main characters.

Note: as of the beginning of April 2021, the beach was under reconstruction and it was not possible to visit but you can still admire it from above.
