Fiskargatan 9, 116 20 Stockholm, Sweden
At this upscale address on Södermalm after the events of the first book Lisbeth Salander buys a gigantic apartment in Fiskargatan 9, with a fantastic view over Djurgården and Gamla Stan. The apartment is on the top floor and has 21 rooms, of which Salander uses only three. The name on the door said “V. Kulla”, reminding of “Villa Villekulla” where Astrid Lindgren's character Pippi Longstocking lived (by the way, we know where it is, too https://reveal.world/story/pippis-villa-villekulla). Lisbeth Salander was described by Larsson as his version of a grown-up Pippi Longstocking.
In the movie, however, Lisbeth buys an apartment at another building, 950 meters from the actual Fiskargatan 9 - see here https://reveal.world/story/salanders-luxury-apartment-movie .
