El Mirador de Africa is a delightful spot within the town that offers breathtaking vistas of the Strait of Gibraltar and the African mountains.
The adjoining square is situated directly on the perimeter of the Old Town, or Old Medina. In one corner of the square, an ancient tower seamlessly blends into the Medina wall. It is worth the climb for a magnificent panoramic view of the coastline.
On the opposite side of the square from the tower, you can see a yellow-and-white building. There is an illustration of the mountain range in Africa that is clearly visible from this viewpoint.
